The Danmodi Youth Skills Initiative (DYSI) 2026 is now open for applications from eligible and interested youth.

This initiative is designed to equip young people with practical, income-generating skills that promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable community development.

🔷 Training Locations

Training will be conducted in the following centres:

• Dutse

• Hadejia

• Gumel

• Kazaure

⚠️ Important Notice:
Carpentry and Welding are the only available training options in Hadejia, Gumel, and Kazaure. All other skills are available in Dutse only.

📍 Dutse:

• ICT Training

• Tailoring (Male & Female)

• Catering

• Beauty Care

• Hair Dressing

• Leather Work

• Automobile Training

• Fisheries

• Embroidery

• Bead Making

• Renewed Hope Training

📍 Hadejia, Gumel & Kazaure:

• Carpentry

• Welding

🔷 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a youth within the state

• Be currently unemployed

• Be willing to fully participate in the programme

• Provide accurate and verifiable information

• Be available throughout the training period
